We are seeking a Director of International Commercial Growth, to unlock enterprise growth and build strategic partnerships to advance our overall reach in international markets.
The initial focus will be on the European market.
This individual would be responsible for establishing the enterprise growth strategy internationally.
They will be responsible for sourcing, developing, and bringing key enterprise partners to fruition to advance the growth and success of Oura.
The ideal candidate has experience building and leading a global team, leveraging their network of contacts to build out our enterprise and partner base strategically, and has experience scaling systems and processes for a growth stage company.
As the Director of International Commercial Growth, you would help grow Oura by foraying into new user bases and building partnerships that focus on key pillars of growth specifically in healthcare, research, government, sports and employee wellness.
The ideal candidate is results-driven, ambitious, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
What you will do:
Within the first 12 months, be responsible for growing enterprise sales and revenue significantlyBuild a network of channel partners, distributors, sales agents that will unlock opportunities for OuraPrioritize growing awareness of the Oura brand and leverage partnerships that doubles Oura aided awareness, in deep partnership and collaboration with the marketing team.Advance opportunities that increase the lifetime value of the Oura member baseRepresent the Oura brand when engaging with strategic partners and educate executives on Oura's features and capabilities as a subject matter expert on the productWork collaboratively with the Customer Experience and Marketing teams throughout the product implementation to increase utilization of the Oura Ring to its fullest capacityOwn and manage the contracting process with our Legal and Regulatory teams to ensure that we develop clear expectations and accountabilityUnderstand Oura's market opportunities and analyze potential leads through strategy development, market segmentation, competitive analysis, and financial analysisPartner with cross-functional teams through all aspects of partner and business case development, product requirements, negotiation, and contractsProvide regular communications to the executive team on international strategy and resultsParticipate in corporate development activities as needed as the company growsWe would love to have you on our team, if you have:
10+ years of direct experience in a commercial enterprise-focused role in health technology and services as an outward-facing representative of the companyExperience leading teams, cross functionally and directly to advance commercial goalsProven track record of success developing strategy and growth through enterprise sales including prospecting, qualifying and closing on key business leads and targets within the health and wellness industryA passion for developing new business, and proof of experience breaking ground into new customer basesStrong leadership ability and people management skills.
Holds themselves and their team accountable for hitting metricsOutstanding communication and interpersonal skills and ability to develop strong working relationshipsExcellent verbal and written communication skills.
You can explain complex issues in simple terms and adapt your tone for different users.Driven self-starter who excels in an ever-changing environment and is comfortable with ambiguityDemonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders, such as Product and Operations, and collaborate across remote, centralized, and international teamsPassion for the Oura product and our mission to empower everyone to realize their healthAt Oura, we care about you and your well-being.
