Director Corporate Development

Phipps Cameron is prouid to retained to search for a Corporate Development Director for our client, a global group.
M&A is a core pillar of growth, the group has a significant capital to deploy over the next five years across domestic and international markets. Reporting to the SVP Corporate Development, you'll take a leading role in delivering an ambitious acquisition programme, providing end-to-end transaction management and leadership for all acquisitions
It's important the candidate can commit to being predominantly office based, so this would particularly suit those already based in Surrey or the surrounding area.
Selection criteria includes:
Strong preference for candidates with recent experience of M&A in a corporate context, preferably at a senior level Formative career in a boutique investment bank or as an M&A advisor Strong attention to detail and ability to see the wider picture, the successful candidate must be able to identify key business risks from diligence and other materials Extensive experience in M&A execution, with a proven track record of negotiating and closing private deals Work effectively and collaboratively with key stakeholders cross-functionally: CEO, CFO, GC, MDs and functional heads (Tax, Legal and Finance for example) Demonstrate excellent technical ability combined with commercial/strategic acumen
