The role is high profile, exciting, varied and provides an opportunity to improve leadership skills whilst working collaboratively with DIO colleagues, Industry Partners and other internal/ external stakeholders Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following; Support line manager in delivering departmental goals Ensure own compliance with mandatory requirements e.g.
H&S training Promote strong working relationships both within the team and with other teams To manage the daily routine business of the Support Unit Fort Blockhouse (SUFB) To staff routine incoming/ outgoing correspondence on matters relating SUFB/ DIO business as appropriate.
Any other relevant administrative support tasks as directed by the Head of Establishment, such as managing diaries.
Support and improve FBH coordination and integration into the wider Regional Delivery (RD) Business model, in line with RD Business Plan, Risk Management, and general administration.
Producing agendas and minutes SUFB instigated meetings.
Acting as secretary for meetings including booking venues and ensuring sufficient site access.
Person specification The successful candidate will possess drive and enthusiasm in a key front facing role with the ability to deal with sensitive matters and manage the expectations of various stakeholders.
Experience and Skills Strong interpersonal skills; self-confident; ability to work on own initiative within a wide ranging but structured environment and the ability to adapt to changing priorities and tight deadlines is essential.
Use of MS Office applications (Outlook, Excel, One note) to support work outputs.
