The role of a DIO Area Manager within the Central Region is pivotal in the day-to-day management of the Defence Estate.
The successful candidate will manage the delivery of the DIO contracts (both external and in-house) for facilities management and associated services to military users.
The Area Manager is accountable for delivery of Hard and Soft Facilities services.
This role would suit a highly motivated and knowledgeable Construction or Facilities Management professional, with experience of delivering at pace, in a similar customer focused environment.
Key skills include contract and relationship management with industry partners, Senior Military customers and other DIO departments and stakeholders.
The Area Manager is the primary interface for customers within their area and is required to represent DIO corporately, in respect to other DIO services and functional areas.
