Overview Dining Area AssistantThis is one of the most important roles we have in our restaurant, you will be the 1st person a customer sees when entering the store.
Your smiley face and approachable body language will be the start of their experience.Its important we are well presented and are at 1st hand to assist with their queries.Most will think the role will be to clean tables, however there is so much more to this role.
Please read carefully all the areas you will be asked to / maintain and clean and keep up with:These include:Greeting Customers - Having light conversationsSmilingCreating a happy and safe environmentEnsuring tables are cleaned and ready for customers to useAssisting / educating customers how to use the kiosksTaking their food to their tableInteracting with children - Giving out coloring sheets and crayonsSweeping and mopping the floorEmptying out the in store and car park binsMaintaining the cleanliness of toilets (this includes deep cleaning toilets too)Detailed cleaning on quieter days e.g cleaning under tables, scrubbing the chairs and legs of tablesDustingSpeaking to customers about our Restaurant surveys and offers - This allows to to improve areas customers may highlight on surveysAssisting staff taking orders on tillsAssembling food when asked (Busier periods)Setting up / taking part in Charity events with the teamSelling raffle ticketsParticipating in events, Easter, Halloween Christmas dress upAs described this role is very important to us and the customers.
The customers need to feel comfortable in our stores with the confidence to approach you if any further assistance is needed.Overall you will be at the heart of the store, the friendly face the customer sees and is welcomed by.
