Dimensional Checker

£37,440 to £38,480 per annum plus pension and other staff benefits 6am to 2pm Mon to Fri Overtime available paid at premium rates plus double time on Sundays.
This may be ideal for a fabricator/plater looking to get away from the tools I am recruiting for a very successful steel company for a dimensional checker The dimensional checker's duties include but not limited too- Checking all new steel being delivered to make sure it is correct to the order sheets.
Check fabrications for dimension and correct size to the engineers drawings To assist the QC  Ensure materials meet the correct grading to orders and jobs specified for As a dimensional checker you must be methodical To reduce risks.
Proactively identifying potential problems early limits the likelihood of costly mistakes, customer dissatisfaction and reputational damage.
