The post is 18 months secondment and can be based at York or Scarborough. Hybrid working is available for this role (office/from home), and the post holder will be required to travel between sites.
To excel in this role, you will have the ability to work on your own initiative and organise/prioritise your own and team workload, communicate verbally and in writing in a clear, fluent, and persuasive manner, and have proven ability to analyse and present information effectively. You should also possess the ability to influence, persuade, and negotiate with staff at different levels. Please refer to the person specification for the rest of the essential criteria.

Establish, document, and approve the project's scope in a project initiation document. Determine the necessary resources and process improvements, and agree on the project plan with key stakeholders. Share project progress, as determined by the project plan, as needed and at the appropriate frequency with various organisations and/or people, such as the Department of Health, the Board of Directors, and internal Project Board. Inform the project board of any risks or issues and implement mitigation, reduction, or avoidance measures. Person Specification Qualifications and Training Educated to degree level or equivalent. Project Management knowledge, either acquired through a postgraduate diploma or via experience of managing and completing complex projects. Quality Improvement knowledge either acquired through a postgraduate diploma or via experience of managing and completing complex projects. Experience and Knowledge Experience of service development and project management in a specialist area. Experience and competence in using word processing, presentation, and spreadsheet software. Experience of managing and delivering change effectively on complex projects. Experience of managing complex projects. Experience of undertaking complex surveys relating to projects. Experience of working in an NHS acute hospital and/or community.
