The role requires working alongside the wider UK digital team as well as collaborating with cross functional teams, such as Industrial Process Engineering, to support the development of engineering use cases.Within Belfast exists the COREF (Connected Reconfigurable Factory) innovation lab which showcases the physical technologies within Industry, such as smart tools, vision systems and cobots.
You would be acting as the COREF Lab curator and custodian and will be the first point of contact for enquiries, demos and access.
Your role be heavily focussed on the development of use cases and technological capability exploration, as well as running demonstrations and engaging with various stakeholders to find new opportunities for expansion.
There will also be an element of support into the wider Digital Industry projects which are exciting new developments to revolutionise the manufacturing processes.ResponsibilitiesGain an understanding of COREF technologies and Industry 4.0 development, identify future opportunities for technology application through engagement with COREF users, external materials and other functions.Identify and develop use cases for COREF technology within the ICC by engaging with manufacturing engineers and other functions where appropriate.Prepare and deliver technical demonstrations utilising COREF Technology as well as events to promote COREF to inform, educate and inspire users.
Identify new technologies to explore in the lab - new technology development opportunities and expanding the labs capabilities for future.
