Digital Data Lead

Digital Data Lead - Solihull £60K - £75K (DOE) Hybrid working (On site a couple days a week to start, then changing to 1/2 days per month) Working for a global organisation who have been going through an exciting digital transformation, this brand new role will join an already established applications team to ensure effective data and business process integration within the digital transformation landscape.
You will collaborate with functional teams to optimize current data flows and processes, and work with colleagues across the business to drive the wider digital transformation agenda.
This role will include Data Architecture, Data quality, strategy and business partnering with stakeholders throughout the wider group.
As Digital Data Steward ensure the integrity, compatibility, and effectiveness of digital solutions within the business.
Collaborate with the Data Quality Lead in D&A team and other data stewards to enhance accuracy of data used daily, and strategic decision-making.
Formulate a clear strategy outlining goals, processes and technologies for data integration and workflow simplification.
Ensure the data strategy aligns with the overall digital transformation objectives and broader business strategy.
Partner with IT, D&A, Finance and Operations teams to establish robust data governance practices and optimize workflows whilst ensuring compliance data governance policies and procedures.
Identify digital technologies and collaborate with stakeholders to pinpoint areas where digital technologies can enhance data and process workflows.
Lead the implementation of digital data technologies ensuring they meet data requirements and align to business strategic goals.
Analyse and optimize existing business workflows by developing a deep understanding of how current systems and products interact, then propose and implement improvements to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
Evaluate current data flows and business process to ensure digital solutions support simplification and harmonization.
Address complexities arising from a disaggregated technology stack by working closely with IT, Data& Analytics, and Operations teams.
Experience needed: Track record of implementing digital tools and technologies to optimize data workflows.
Experience of working effectively within a multifunctional team.
Ability to work with and influence multiple stakeholders across the business.
Knowledge of how to map business process and data workflows.
Proven experience in data management and digital transformation projects.
