On behalf of the Infected Blood Compensation Authority / Cabinet Office, we are looking for a Digital Content Producer (Inside IR35) for a 3 month contract based Hybrid - 3 days per week in Newcastle upon Tyne.
In recognition of the hurt caused by the infected blood scandal and highlighted by the Infected Blood Inquiry (IBI), compensation will be paid to those infected and affected.
This role is an opportunity to join a new Arm's Length Body - the Infected Blood Compensation Authority (IBCA) - as we build a team of Communications and Engagement professionals to put the infected and affected community at the heart of our communications and support them to get the compensation they are entitled to.
The number one goal for this new organisation is to build and maintain trust with its users.
Effective, open and transparent communications will play an important part in this.
The Communications and Engagement team sits at the heart of the IBCA to ensure we explain the new compensation scheme with clarity, simplicity and effectiveness.
Job Description You will deliver a range of internal and external content that target the broad mix of our audience, ensuring that we stay audience-focused with content that is targeted, bespoke and effective.
We need a skilled content producer who can shoot and edit video as well as make basic, editable graphics and support on channel management and listening.
As a Digital Content Producer, your main responsibilities will be: * To use social media management and listening tools such as Hootsuite * To be proficient in the use of Adobe suite to edit video, create graphics and create engaging visuals * Ability to shoot video using a range of DSLR cameras and relevant equipment including setting-up and leading video interviews * Must be able to take photographs Essential: *Experience with working in/ with government and government communications *Ability to make basic animations *Experience of working with the media Please be aware that this role can only be worked within the UK and not Overseas.
