We have embarked on our digital excellence journey to implement systems that will transform the quality of care for our patients and staff by having instantly accessible information using the latest mobile technology, reducing paper usage and utilising clinical decision support tools.
Main duties of the job The Digital Clinical Facilitators will work as part of a dynamic Chief Clinical Information Officer postholder will have an understanding of digital systems and will support the digital teamwithefficient and effective management of the on-going EPR development, education, implementation and training of our digital clinical role is responsible for facilitating digital transformation for new digital solutions and upgrades to existing digital solutions across UHN with clear collaboration with internal and external stakeholders as required.

Job description Job responsibilities The role is responsible for operating as a key member of the Chief Clinical Information Officer portfolio which focuses on ensuring there is clinical engagement at all levels of the Group Digital Strategy.
The postholder will support theDigital team by contributing to improving standards of care through the effective use of digital solutions The Digital Clinical Facilitators will work with multi-professional teams to facilitate improving patient care by participating in audits, research and benefits realisation data collection, analysis and subsequent improvements to our processes.
The postholder will participate in engagement with end users to ensure clear documentation of current state processes and subsequent future state processes and support in clinical hazard workshops as required.
They will work with members of the multidisciplinary team within the hospitals and at community venues, including all clinical colleagues, operational colleagues, administrative personnel and all teams within Digital and the EPR Programmesacross UHN.
The post holder will work collaboratively with our digital teams and clinical teams by acting as a representative of their clinical profession to ensure we are using technology effectively and efficiently to improve the quality of care and patient safety.
Person Specification Education, Training & Qualifications Essential Registered healthcare professional with current UK registration (for example: NMC, HCPC, GPhC, AHCS) Evidence of recent and ongoing CPD/learning in relevant area Desirable Evidence of CSO training Project management qualification, such as PRINCE II or Agile Member of British Computer Society (BCS) Postgraduate Certificate in Digital Health Leadership Practice Assessor Qualification or equivalent mentorship course Skills/Abilities Essential Regular experience of working in areas of clinical practice with portfolio of evidence to demonstrate past practice and achievements Demonstrate the ability to influence others, share ideas and utilise feedback effectively Evidence of working effectively across a range of clinical settings within a MDT Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, including preparation of formal reports and training materials Experience of using digital clinical systems Able to manage own work load and work for periods without direct supervision and stamina and commitment to bring drive to new ideas and projects An understanding of digital systems and advances to develop and manage electronic patient records To work independently and as part of a team, managing personal workload and conflicting priorities Have the ability to work under pressure when required and to provide high quality output within short time periods Able to plan and organise a range of complex activities, formulate and adjust plans and activities in accordance with short and long term goals Experience/Knowledge Essential Understanding of Data Security and Protection and confidentiality Experience delivering training/teaching sessions Understanding of the national digital agenda including key current national priorities Understanding of NHS legislation and regulatory standards within their profession Demonstrates use of own judgement of resolve complex issues/problem solve Desirable Experience in engaging with staff and/or service users and interpreting feedback into service improvements Experience/knowledge of implementing practice and organisational change processes Experience in quality improvement
