Digicon Operator

Our client, a well-established labels company based in Castleford, is looking for a skilled Digicon Operator to join their growing team.
If you have experience in slitter/rewinding within labels or packaging, this is a fantastic opportunity to work with a leading business in the sector.
Key Responsibilities: Operate and maintain the Digicon finishing equipmentEnsure high-quality standards in the production of labelsMonitor machine performance and troubleshoot issues as neededMaintain safety and cleanliness in the production areaWork to tight production deadlines and ensure smooth workflowWhat We’re Looking For: Previous experience operating slitter/rewinder equipment within the labels or packaging industry (Digicon experience is highly desirable but not essential)Strong attention to detail and commitment to qualityAbility to work independently and as part of a teamFlexible and adaptable to various shiftsShift Patterns: Earlies: 06:00 to 13:30, Monday to FridayLates: 13:24 to 21:00, Monday to Thursday, 13:24 to 20:30, FridayNights: 20:50 to 06:12, Monday to FridayBenefits: Salary around £28,500 (based on experience)Life insurancePension contribution up to 9%28 days holiday including Bank Holidays (rising by 2 days per year)Opportunity for career progression within a well-established companyIf you’re looking for a rewarding role in a dynamic and supportive environment, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
