Main duties of the jobWe are pleased to offer an opportunity for an enthusiastic and experienced highly specialist practitioner psychologist to join our Diabetes Psychiatry and Psychology Service (DPPS) as part of the adult diabetes team at King's College Hospital. The successful candidate will provide specialist psychological screening, assessment and treatment to patients with type 1 / complex type 2 diabetes and associated psychological difficulties and become a valuable source of psychological expertise for the multi-disciplinary team (MDT).

There are opportunities for both individual and group-based interventions which are used in the team to help address issues around adjustment to the condition, effective diabetes management and psychological and emotional wellbeing.
