Devops Engineer (Full Stack Developer)

South Norfolk and Broadland Councils are looking for a Full Stack Developer to join our team.
Working within the IT/Digital Team on multiple concurrent projects, you will have the opportunity to use your skills and experience in a range of development languages to build secure and accessible customer facing and internal web applications and business interfaces that enhance our customers and employees digital experience.
The role will involve contributing to the development and integration of solutions to form a complete DevOps toolchain, as well as supporting the design and implementation of large data and software integrations that enable business systems to communicate and operate effectively.
You will work across the Councils providing a comprehensive service over a wide range of service areas and a variety of work projects.
The successful candidate will hold a professional/vocational qualification in Computer Science (or a related field) or demonstrate the equivalent IT knowledge and experience within a Development Team.
You will have proven ability of object-oriented programming in an Agile environment with significant knowledge and experience in a range of languages and frameworks, together with experience of developing and maintaining business systems, web applications, web forms and content management systems.
You will also be competent in databases such as SQL and Oracle.
