Development Surveyor Leicestershire £45-55kk Key Responsibilities Development land agency role - acquiring and selling development sites Identifying and advising landowners on strategic development opportunities Supporting the lead Director in carrying RICS Red Book Valuations Monitoring Local Plan reviews to identify potential growth areas Carrying out site due diligence, identifying opportunities and constraints Producing site appraisal reports, summarising development opportunities Researching local housing market performance, including new build data Producing Development Appraisals on Excel or Argus Developer Supporting lead Director in identifying promotional partners Preparing marketing particulars for immediate and strategic sites Populating and administering online data rooms Advising landowner clients on the outcome of marketing campaigns Prepare and negotiate Heads of Terms for land deals Liaise with appointed solicitor throughout legal process until exchange Foster relationships with the Midlands planning and development community Attend industry events Support wider team on the day to day running of the business Candidate Attributes Self-motivated with the ability to work alone or as part of a team Hard working with the drive to get the job done Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Degree in Real Estate or Surveying, or related subject Experience in a similar agency/advisory role preferred Track record working for a developer / housebuilder considered Membership of the RICS (or working towards) preferred but not essential Excellent IT skills working Microsoft 365 packages essential Experience using Argus Developer or similar valuation software preferred Full driving licence essential for the role Based at Leicestershire office Package Competitive salary based on experience and expertise Car allowance Discretionary bonus scheme 24 days annual leave per annum Pay RICS annual subscription fee Access the Cycle to Work scheme Support career development and further learning
