Improve business and family comfort, protection and productivity As a Release Train Engineer here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in driving the successful delivery of our Smart Water products and solutions.
You will be responsible for leading and coordinating the Release Train processes and execution, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs.
Your expertise in Project management, Agile methodologies and strong leadership skills will enable you to guide and support multiple development teams in delivering high-quality product releases on time.
In this role, you will impact the efficiency and effectiveness of our New Product Development and Introduction processes, driving continuous improvement and fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Offering Management, Product Owners, global Mechanical Development teams and Product Validation teams, to ensure the successful delivery of new product releases for our End2End solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Facilitate the Release Train processes and execution, ensuring alignment with business objectives, strategy and customer needs • Coordinate and lead technology team, including Program Increment and Release Planning • Collaborate with Offering Management, NPI Program Managers, Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and Development teams to prioritize and manage the backlog, ensuring timely delivery of product releases • Identify and mitigate risks and dependencies, proactively addressing issues that may impact the RT's ability to deliver on time and within scope • Provide leadership and guidance to Development teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and high performance to drive continuous improvement initiatives and implementing best practices Key Skills: • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Embedded Systems development, with at least 2 years of experience as a Release Train Engineer or similar role, e.g.
Program Manager • Proven experience of full product life-cycle from ideation over implementation/validation up-to commercial launch in related industries, ideally covering injection molding, housing of electronics in a harsh environment • Strong knowledge and understanding of Agile methodologies, including Scrum, Release Planning and End2End-Solutions • Proven track record of successfully leading and coordinating development teams in delivering product releases or solutions on time and within scope Our offer • A culture that fosters inclusion, diversity, and innovation in an international work environment • Market specific training and ongoing personal development.
