Development Chemist - Electrochemistry

Development Chemist – Electrochemistry Overview Delve Recruitment are currently working with an innovative and well-established business within the water treatment sector, who supply globally, that are looking to add a Development Chemist to the team.
The Role Reporting directly into the R&D Manager, this is a brand new role due to company and project expansion.
They have a new electrochemical reactor that needs taking through the commercialisation process of designing, developing and improving process parameters.
This is a hands on role where you will be conducting experiments at R&D/pilot stage and working closely with the rest of the R&D team, Process Engineers, Senior Chemists and Material Scientists.
Responsibilities Planning and executing projects to develop and improve manufactured products Optimising electrochemical reactor parameters to enhance performance levels Designing experiments from R&D through to pilot stage Discuss ideas for products/improvements Qualifications and Skills Degree qualified in Chemistry or a closely related subject Strong understanding of electrochemistry and materials science Prior experience working with electrochemical reactors (or systems such as distillation) Prior experience in NPI for electrochemical reactors What you will get in return As a Development Chemist, you will be part of a thriving company who have recently moved into a larger premises due to expansion with lots more ambition to keep growing.
