None of this would be possible without striving to be an employer of choice, where our colleagues are proud to represent our business.Role DescriptionTo support the NPD team with NPD and EPD across all foods categories-Canned Ready Meals, Soups and Beans, Pasta and Pulses.Presenting products to customers.Occasional support with the branded teams at our head office in Liverpool.Lead customer lunchesSupport the organisation of the development kitchen and the kitchen assistants.There will be an element of sample making for EPD as well as NPD.Accountabilities:• Keep the NPD team informed and up to date with consumer and culinary trends and influences.• Work with suppliers to find new ingredients and processes that could benefit the development of new product concepts.• Support the wider product development and marketing teams with food knowledge and inspiration.• Assist the marketing and development teams with product presentations and innovation sessions with customers.• Be flexible when necessary to deliver projects against customer deadlines and in times of need to support the wider team.• Support NPD Managers and Technologists in design and kitchen make up of customer samples.
??????To maintain product Food Safety, Legality, Integrity, Authenticity and Quality standards by ensuring all associated policies and procedures are adhered to.
Role RequirementsQualifications, Background and Experience:• Relevant professional chef qualifications (C&G Diploma in professional Cookery or equivalent; Culinary Arts Degree or significant proven practical experience equating to this level).• Experience of working as a chef developing recipes from ideas and opportunities identified by customers and / or Princes marketing team.• Experience of product development from concept to manufacture ideally with ambient stable food products.
