Pension + Cash Plan Health Insurance + Flexible Working (Office Based when required) Region: West Yorkshire Description We are looking for a Full Stack Developer to work closely with Project Managers, Business Analysts, Architects, and other developers within the team to deliver changes required by the business on a range of web products.
We are looking for someone who loves front-end development (using the Angular framework) but is also comfortable with backend development using C# and .Net (Core).
Responsibilities will also include helping design the UI, estimating user stories, developing new features, fixing bugs, testing, peer reviewing code, and following security best practices.
Job Scope and Dimensions Reports into Software Development Manager Developing and enhancing bespoke Digital Commerce solutions and maintaining/enhancing existing web-based products Ensure adherence to quality assurance and documentation standards and promote continuous improvement Key Tasks Work as part of a cross-functional Agile development team consisting of software developers, testers, architects, and product owners to deliver robust and well-engineered software solutions Propose and implement the most effective approaches and technologies to fulfill requirements and provide customers with excellent user experiences Use analytics and user journeys to identify and implement improvements to the user experience Approach work with a mindset that embraces Agile principles and culture, and be a positive example to others of the behaviours they should develop Troubleshoot and resolve bugs, closely monitoring defect rates and working closely with end users Liaise with other teams and key individuals in a cross-functional DevOps environment Engage and collaborate with internal stakeholders to evaluate requirements Work closely with the technology and cybersecurity team to minimize risk and ensure compliance with GDPR and security best practices Maintain quality and accuracy of code and ensure effective source code control Qualifications/Experience C# and ASP.NET MVC HTML & CSS Angular or similar framework Effective debugging skills for both front and backend Ability to work in a DevOps environment using source control (git) Education/Qualifications: Degree qualified or relevant industry experience Attributes Highly organized self-starter Confident Flexible and adaptable Good verbal and written communicator Ability to work both alone and as part of a team #J-18808-Ljbffr
