Despatch Operative

Role Overview The purpose of this Despatch Operative role is to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of all aspects of the Despatch Department; tasks include: Organising and overseeing the loading of the vehicles.
Accurately recording loading information.
Separating customer orders into specific routes.
Loading customer orders ready for dispatch.
Loading and dispatching third-party collections and deliveries.
Working efficiently and within required targets.
Completing daily reporting to the Despatch Manager and Supervisor.
There is a considerable amount of manual handling and lifting required, working in a refrigerated warehouse.
