This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic logistics team, managing the delivery and dispatch of premium products across the UK and Ireland.
About the Role: The Logistics Manager will report to the General Manager and manage end-to-end dispatch and delivery processes, driving smooth transportation, timely shipments, and optimal customer service.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee despatch, ensuring accurate packaging and shipment preparation.
Coordinate third-party logistics providers and transport partners, ensuring cost-effective and reliable deliveries across regions.
Optimise delivery routes and schedules for timely, cost-efficient deliveries.
Liaise with sales and customer service teams to meet delivery expectations and address any issues promptly.
Negotiate and manage SLAs with transport providers to secure the best value and service.
Implement delivery tracking systems; monitor and report on KPIs such as on-time delivery rates and customer satisfaction.
Identify ways to reduce outbound logistics costs without compromising service.
Ensure all operations align with UK/Irish transport regulations, health, and environmental standards.
Lead and motivate a team in efficient daily operations, promoting a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
Regularly assess logistics processes to improve efficiency, cost management, and customer experience, including implementing new systems as needed.
The Person: It is anticipated that the successful candidate will come from a similar background and will be looking for the next challenge in their career.
