Despatch Administrator - Do you have despatch / stores experience and are you an organised administrator?

Spider is advertising on behalf of the UK's leading specialist in Metal Injection Moulding (MIM) who are looking for a Stores & Despatch Administrator to join their team on full-time basis in Rendlesham, near Woodbridge, Suffolk .

Fantastic company package include: Salary: £27,000 per annum (dependant on experience) Holiday: 25 days plus Bank Holiday Hours: Working 35 hours a week, the company offers a 4-day week, or other negotiable flexible options.
For example, 5 days of 7 hours or 5 day school hours (part time) could be considered for the right candidate.
This role, however, is to fit between Monday to Friday only.
Company Pension Free Parking About the role: As the Stores & Despatch Administrator , you will be at the heart of the operations, ensuring that the flow of goods in and out is seamless.
Your keen organisational skills and attention to detail will be crucial as you manage inventory, coordinate shipments, and maintain accurate records.
You will work closely with various teams to ensure that our high standards of safety, compliance, and quality are met and exceeded, contributing to the overall success of the company.
Main Duties and Responsibilities: Preparing outgoing goods for shipment by picking, packing (regular manual handling), and labelling accurately Coordinating with logistics providers for timely despatch and delivery, ensuring compliance records are kept up to date Maintaining accurate and complete despatch documentation Inspecting and verifying incoming shipments for quality and accuracy Performing regular stock counts and updating inventory systems Organising storage areas for safety and accessibility Collaborating with procurement and production teams to monitor stock levels Addressing and resolving any stock-related issues Contributing to continuous improvement & sustainability initiatives in your role Adhering to all company policies, safety guidelines, and legal regulations About you: You will be a team player who thrives in a dynamic environment.
Your strong organisational skills and attention to detail ensure that every aspect of your work is executed flawlessly.
Have a proactive mindset and be ready to tackle challenges head-on while effectively collaborating with colleagues across departments.
Your solid computer skills, particularly in MS Office, along with a keen interest to continually improve inventory management systems, will help you excel in this role.
A background in warehouse, stores, or despatch operations would be an advantage, as would an understanding of express parcel delivery activities, but your willingness to learn and adapt is what truly sets you apart.
