Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Desktop Support Engineer with expertise in Mac OS X, iOS, JAMF, and Asset Management to join our dynamic IT support team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the seamless operation of desktop environments, including troubleshooting, configuration, and support of Mac OS X and iOS devices.
Additionally, the Desktop Support Engineer will manage device inventories, handle asset tracking, and provide proactive solutions to optimize system performance and user satisfaction.
Years of experience: 2 to 5 years Salary: Open / let us know your expectation KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Mac OS X & iOS Support: Provide end-user support for Mac OS X and iOS devices, ensuring timely resolution of technical issues.
Install, configure, and maintain Mac OS X and iOS devices in line with organizational policies.
Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, including networking, printing, and device synchronization problems.
Manage software updates, patches, and system upgrades for Mac OS X and iOS platforms.
JAMF Management: Administer and support JAMF Pro for device management, including enrolment, configuration, and security policies.
Manage macOS and iOS device deployment and profiles via JAMF, ensuring compliance with security standards and company policies.
Configure and deploy applications using JAMF Software.
Monitor device compliance, troubleshoot device issues, and perform remote management tasks through JAMF.
Asset Management: Oversee the inventory of hardware and software assets, ensuring accuracy and timely updates in asset management systems.
Manage the lifecycle of desktop and mobile devices, from procurement to retirement and disposal.
Assist with tracking and auditing hardware and software licenses to ensure compliance.
Perform regular audits of physical assets and systems, ensuring accurate reporting.
