You will need to be confident in delivering GCSE to a high standard.
Ideally you will have an undergraduate degree in a related Design Technology field along with the appropriate Design Technology teacher training qualification.
If you have experience in teaching or an interest in other topic areas within Design Technology this will be advantageous.
As with any Design Technology Teacher role, the ability to teach through the Design Technology syllabus is desired.
