They are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Design Technology Teacher to join their dedicated faculty in a fulltime permanent position commencing this November.
Position Overview: The successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to the schools dynamic Design Technology department inspiring the next generation of passionate individuals.
The role entails fostering a love for thinking in students equipping them with essential skills for the modern age.
Key Responsibilities: Design and deliver engaging and rigorous Design Technology lessons aligned with the national curriculum and schools educational goals across Key Stages 3 and 4.
Create a stimulating classroom atmosphere that promotes student curiosity problemsolving and collaboration.
Assess and monitor student progress providing constructive feedback to facilitate individual growth.
Collaborate effectively with colleagues within the Design Technology department and across the school to enhance the learning experience.
Stay abreast of current pedagogical approaches and developments in the field of Design Technology.
Qualifications and Experience: A Bachelors degree or higher in Design Technology or a related field.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
Demonstrated experience teaching Design Technology at the secondary level.
Ideal Candidate Attributes: A passion for Design Technology and its realworld applications with the ability to inspire students.
Excellent communication interpersonal and organizational skills.
Adaptability and a willingness to embrace new teaching methodologies.
