Design Manager - Utility Scale BESS Salary – £80K - £100K Remote – UK-based Your New Employer Join one of the fastest-growing renewable energy asset developers in the world, currently managing a ground breaking 300 MW grid-connected battery storage project.
With a focus on sustainability and innovation, this organisation has doubled in size over the past two years, driven by its dynamic leadership and ambitious growth strategy.
Your New Role As a Design Manager, you will lead a highly capable team responsible for delivering technical design solutions for electrical infrastructure and clean technology projects.
You'll be at the core of developing project scopes, managing the technical team, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and on budget.
With a role that spans design leadership, client engagement, and the development of cutting-edge clean technology solutions, you will ensure that designs are not only technically sound but also commercially viable.
Your responsibilities will range from high-level strategic decisions to the day-to-day management of project deliverables.
Your Background You are an experienced Design Manager with a proven ability to manage complex renewable energy projects.
You have a solid understanding of electrical design principles, from equipment sizing to layout and control philosophy.
As a leader, you excel at coordinating teams and ensuring the highest standards of technical accuracy and compliance.
Your passion for decarbonisation and renewable energy drives your work, and you are confident in your ability to manage both client relationships and large-scale project designs.
