I am looking for a Design Manager with a strong rail background to deliver engineering technical excellence for engineering works associated with station redevelopment.
Role You will have previous experience working in a similar role within programmes from a rail aspect. This role would suit a Design Manager with build experience on stations.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to: Report to the project director to deliver the engineering on allocated company contracts. Manage design for depot and site works. Attend client meetings as required. Ensure integration works on site. Manage the design process. Client-facing responsibilities. Essential requirements: Design Manager level experience in rail works. Five years of relevant experience. Proven experience in managing works. Desirable: While not essential, a degree in a relevant discipline such as Civil Engineering would be advantageous.
