A leading main contractor is seeking a skilled Design Manager to join their dynamic team, delivering high-profile developments in and around the Maidenhead area.
The Role As a Design Manager, you will oversee the design aspects of 2-3 sites simultaneously, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Your responsibilities will include: Managing design teams , including architects and subcontractors.
Collaborating with project managers to ensure seamless programme delivery.
Monitoring and coordinating all design stages from concept through to completion.
Ensuring compliance with regulations, specifications, and project objectives.
Resolving design-related issues efficiently, maintaining project momentum.
What We're Looking For To succeed in this role, you should have: A proven track record as a Design Manager, preferably within the construction sector.
Experience managing multiple sites and stakeholders.
Strong knowledge of design and construction processes, regulations, and best practices.
Excellent communication and organisational skills to lead multidisciplinary teams.
