Salter Grange is currently recruiting a Design Manager for one of Europe's Construction powerhouses, a market leader in Data Centres, Semiconductors, Technology and Life Sciences Construction projects.

My client is open to the candidate's background if they can demonstrate experience on high-value construction projects in different sectors with reputable Main Contractors.

As a Design Manager , you will be working on exciting Data Centre projects whilst utilising innovative processes to ensuring the highest possible efficiency and quality.
Your work will make a significant impact, shaping some of the most prestigious projects in the industry.

Design Manager Responsibilities:
Assist in developing Design Delivery Schedule along with client, Project Manager, Design team and consultants.
Negotiate scope of work, deliverables and price with consulting firms.
Procure the design from a consultant design partner from initial tender enquiry to appointment.
Manage distribution and production of project workload within the project team and design consultant team.
Collaborate on new design issues/changes and research projects with the team.
Project prioritization of design, assignment and management to designers.
Led with effective supervision of an experienced design team to ensure delivery on schedule.
Closely track design deliverables to ensure project milestones are met.
Implement a recovery strategy if slippage is detected.
Participate in departmental strategic planning.
Design Manager Requirements:
Degree Level 6 in architecture, engineering, building services or related field + minimum 5 years' experience.
Experience of site/delivery, commercial and contract procedures.
