Design Manager - Build and Construction Your new company
You will be working with a market-leading brand that delivers exceptional fit-out and refurbishment projects for some of the world's most iconic brands.
We're 1000 passionate people working from seven offices across the UK including: London, Manchester, Leeds, Birmingham, Glasgow and Bracknell.
Your new role Coordinating all the design work required for this key client project.
Coordination between the architectural, MEP and structural elements of the project.
Ensuring all work is in line with current legislation and industry standards.
Liaising with the specific project leader regarding the overall project, the project's drawing programme/release schedule and the assignment of drawing tasks.
Working closely with other members of the project team to deliver the tasks and attend meetings when required.
Liaising with external consultants, design sub-contractors or suppliers and coordinating the input from various disciplines.
Attending site meetings.
Conducting site inspections.
Contributing to project reports.
Producing sample schedules.
What you'll need to succeed Excellent client-facing skills in a Design Manager capacity.
AutoCAD & Revit understanding.
BIM understanding.
Ability to produce schedules in Excel.
UK site experience, knowledge of UK building and CDM regulations.
Out-going, professional and success-focused attitude to work.
A genuine team-player with the ability to work independently when required.
Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
Knowledge and experience in all phases of interior design/architectural projects.
Experience managing consultant teams and resolving complex technical and design issues.
Be proactive and adaptable with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
