Electrical Engineer Design Manager Warwick Hybrid £70,000 plus bonus Our client is seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer Design Manager to lead our engineering product design team.
In this role, you will oversee the complete product design lifecycle from concept to production handover, ensuring high-quality output within agreed timelines.
As the electrical and electronics expert, you'll be pivotal in driving innovation and ensuring technical compliance with customer specifications.
Electrical Design Manager Responsibilities: Manage a small team in product design, maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.
Lead the product design cycle, from concept to production handover.
Drive electrical and electronic innovation for the business, supporting DC circuits to CAN Bus networks.
Provide technical support in mechanical design as needed.
Ensure electrical designs meet customer specifications and legislative standards.
Foster team engagement, conduct 1:1s, and set annual goals aligned with business objectives.
Produce high-standard design documentation, including performance calculations, test plans, and material justifications.
Collaborate with European engineering teams and focus on customer-centric improvements.
Electrical Design Manager - Qualifications and Experience: Minimum of 5 years of engineering experience with at least 3 years in a management role preferred.
Strong background in Electrical Design Engineering and familiarity with Mechanical Engineering.
Hands-on approach with an Engineering degree or equivalent apprenticeship.
