Design Engineer

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the development and enhancement of our products, utilising advanced design techniques and engineering principles.
This position requires a strong foundation in mechanical knowledge and proficiency in various design software, ensuring that our projects meet both functional and aesthetic standards.
Responsibilities    Develop and create detailed designs using CAD software, specifically SolidWorks.
Using CAM software to program CNC machines.
Produce schematics and technical documentation to support product development.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet project specifications and requirements.
Engage in system design activities, integrating various components for optimal performance.
Maintain clear communication with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Skills    Proficiency in SolidWorks for 3D modelling and design.
Strong understanding of schematics and technical drawings.
Solid mechanical knowledge applicable to product design.
Competence in CAD software for creating detailed engineering drawings.
Ability to engage in comprehensive system design, ensuring all components function cohesively.
Experience with sheet metal, casting, and injection molding design.
