Design Assistant - Menswear

We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Design Administrative Assistant to support a dynamic design team, specialising in jerseywear.
This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate with a background in fashion design and a strong portfolio, looking to kickstart their career in the fashion industry.
The role combines hands-on creative involvement with essential administrative support, providing a comprehensive introduction to the design process within a fast-paced environment.
Main Responsibilities will include: Sample Management - steaming, organising, and preparing samples for meetings and presentations.
Managing sample trackers, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
CAD & Design Updates - assisting with updating CADs and ensuring all files are accurately maintained.
Supporting the design team in creating CADs and presentations as required.
Trend Research & Compilation - conducting trend research and creating visual inspiration boards.
Supporting the design team in compiling insights and mood boards for upcoming collections.
General Administrative Support - ensuring the design studio is organised and well-maintained.
Person Specifications will include: Degree in Fashion Design or a related field (menswear focus preferred).
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator and Photoshop.
Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
Proactive and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
Must ideally be able to drive due to the location and nature of the role.
