Main duties of the job We are on an exciting journey in expanding our services into Dermatology. We design locally agreed integrated pathways supporting the NHS to provide patient-centred dermatology services through a one stop service. Each of our centres are purpose-built at central, community-based locations, easily accessed by public transport.
About us CHEC is looking to recruit experienced dermatology clinicians to join the team, supporting future growth of our community dermatology services. Candidates must be able to work independently. Our community dermatology service manages a wide-range of adult dermatological conditions that would otherwise be referred to secondary care. Our team can provide patients with rapid access to a secondary care opinion at our clinics.
Job responsibilities Accredited GPwERs, or GPs with a Dermatology diploma and good dermatology experience and hospital based Dermatologists working at registrar or staff grade level will be considered.
Person Specification Experience GMC registration with licence to practice Experience of working in dermatology Hospital based Dermatologists can provide supporting evidence of their training Performers List proof (any performers list in the UK is acceptable) Valid DBS to be less than 12 months old Personal indemnity to fully cover all patient care delivered within this agreement Date and evidence of last appraisal Proof of current NHS Employment Disclosure and Barring Service Check This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
