We currently offer Total Waste Management and Waste-to-Energy solutions in Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, France, Portugal, the UK and IrelandCurrently, in Essex, Indaver is constructing the Rivenhall Facility, which will process circa 595,000t of residual waste per annum and produce electricity to power in the region of, 60,000 homes.
Indaver is now hiring 65 specialist personnel to maintain and operate this large scale process plantThe Deputy Shift Team Leader (x 5 required) operates within a 5-shift rota system and in conjunction with the Shift Team Leader, is responsible for all production and operational coordination activities required to operate the Rivenhall facility in a safe, efficient and compliant mannerThey will also be responsible for the creation and maintenance of a safe working environment for anyone working within the Rivenhall facility, in accordance with the Mechanical & Electrical Safety Rules There's no future without sustainability.

Come join us!RoleLeading, developing and motivating the Shift Team in conjunction with the Shift Team Leader to deliver operational excellence across all facility operationsCoordination of all production and material handling processes within the facility, and the maintenance of the facility in a clean and tidy manner at all times, whilst operating on a 24 hour/365 days per year basisConsumable and additive managementCoordination with the maintenance team and facilitation of maintenance activities within the facilityIdentify all system and /or procedural changes flowing from the project and manage those changes in compliance with Indaver's Management of Change process and proceduresExperienced requiredIdeally HNC/HND educated, in a technical or process related area of study but significant applicable experience will be acceptable in lieu of qualificationsProven operational shift experience within a power generation, continuous process industry, heavy industrial environment or similarKnowledge and experience within a High Temperature Continuous Process' (metallurgy, power generation, cement industry, petrochemicals)Specific Competences: ?
