In the UK all our nurseries are Ofsted rated Good and Outstanding and are based in London and Windsor. We're still growing with 1-2 new nurseries opening each year! At Kido, we blend the best practices from the Montessori, Reggio Emilia, and Waldorf Steiner approaches and have a unique curriculum for children aged 3 months to 5 years. As a Deputy Room Leader, you'll be more than just a leader; you'll be an ambassador for our values, and a gatekeeper for our vibrant culture. You'll take ownership of your room alongside the Room Leader, transforming learning outcomes into inspiring classroom experiences for the children. You'll ensure that your team meets the unique needs of each child, leading them to plan, organise and execute engaging activities that align with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) standards and the Kido curriculum. You'll support educators in observing and assessing their key children, setting goals for each child, and showcasing Kido values by leading by example.
You'll be an integral part of setting the stage for curiosity and exploration, utilising both indoor and outdoor spaces. An ability to effectively communicate with parents, children and colleagues will empower you to deliver the best experience possible. You will assess and record children's progress and achievements, ensuring no milestone goes unnoticed.
What we're looking for:
A relevant childcare qualification, level 2 minimum.Alignment with our core values - Listen, Learn and Lead.Experience as an Educator, preferably as a Deputy Room Leader.Right to work in the UK.Willingness to provide details of unspent convictions prior to interview, in line with our Safer Recruitment process.What's next?
