You'll be working in a small to medium-sized care home where your leadership will have a direct impact on both residents and staff.

As a Deputy Manager, you will: Monitor the wellbeing of residents and ensure their personal and social care needs are met.
Provide leadership and management to staff, including conducting supervisions and supporting team development.
Promote independence and wellbeing among residents.
Ensure compliance with care standards and safeguarding regulations.
Work 40 hours per week, mainly 9am to 5pm, with every other weekend and 16 hours supernumerary.
Package and Benefits: The Deputy Manager role includes: Annual salary of £29,120 (£14 per hour for a 40-hour week).

The ideal Deputy Manager will have: At least 2 years of experience as a Deputy or Senior Care Assistant in residential care homes for older people.
A strong understanding of the Care Standards Act 2000, Key Lines of Enquiry, Safeguarding, and the Mental Capacity Act (MCA).
A commitment to putting people first and promoting their wellbeing.
