Job summary Do you want to be part of the change were bringing to mental health support?We have a unique opportunity for a Deputy Operational Team Manager to join Northpoint.
Main duties of the job This role will involve working across Leeds to support and enhance the operational delivery of mental health services, ensuring high-quality and efficient support to individuals in need and in the absence of the Operational Manager will be delegated to take overall responsibility of the Hub.

About us At Northpoint, we are proud to be part of the Leeds Mental Wellbeing Service (LMWS), a collaborative initiative combining IAPT services and primary care mental health support to deliver comprehensive care.
With a network of around 200 staff working across seven operational teams, LMWS supports up to 28,000 people annually, addressing both common and complex mental health needs.

Job description Job responsibilities What you will be doing as our Deputy Operational Team ManagerActing as the first point of contact for staff on operational and clinical issues, ensuring day-to-day service delivery runs smoothly.Supporting and guiding staff in identifying and managing safeguarding or risk issues in accordance with established policies.Collaborating with the Operational Team Manager and Clinical Leads to address significant clinical concerns, ethical matters, or logistical challenges.Assisting in the recruitment, induction, and training of new team members, ensuring continuity of service delivery.Providing line management and caseload supervision to team members, promoting professional development and evaluating performance.Ensuring clinical supervision is effectively facilitated and aligns with best practice.
Supporting the development and implementation of service protocols and practice guidelines.Facilitating communication and collaboration between LMWS teams and external partners to ensure cohesive client care pathways.Engaging with partners and stakeholders to promote service access for deprived or disadvantaged communities.Representing LMWS at local forums and external meetings.Participating in the out-of-hours duty manager rota (if applicable).
Person Specification Experience and Qualifications Essential Experience of leadership and supervision skills and commitment to continuous improvement Desirable Experience of working in a stepped care setting
