Deputy Nursery Manager

Details of the offer

A nursery in Wymondham is looking for a Deputy Nursery Manager to start ASAP. You must have a level 3 qualification in childcare or higher and must have previous deputy manager, room leader, or similar experience within these job roles.
This will be a full-time permanent role with an FTE of £26,000.
Job Description: To deliver a high standard of learning, development and care for children aged 0-5 years. To supervise and evaluate nursery staff as directed. To ensure that the nursery is maintained as a safe environment for all children and staff. To maintain and develop rapports with parents/guardians to work toward stimulating progression in their child's development. To act in accordance with any and all tasks delegated by the Nursery Manager. Main Activities: To provide a safe, caring, stimulating environment for the children at all times. To help ensure the nursery meets Ofsted regulations and requirements. To understand and work to preschool nursery policies and procedures, including how to deal with child protection issues appropriately and how to respond to incidents, accidents, complaints and emergencies. To deliver an appropriate play-based Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum that enables children to make individual progress and to support other staff in doing so. To work in partnership with senior management to update and review the self-evaluation and improvement plan. #J-18808-Ljbffr
