Deputy Nursery ManagerJob DescriptionShiraka are now working with a well established nursery in Ascot, to recruit a Deputy Nursery Manager to join them on a full time basis.The nursery has the capacity of over 100 children and the Nursery Deputy role is office based, so the right candidate will be responsible for the room and management of the staff in it, and also supporting the nursery manager.This is a full time role working 40 hours per week and shifts are per rota.
The opening hours are 0800-1800This is really a great opportunity to join a small Group on Nurseries that invest in their staff and offer continuous development.Deputy Nursery Manager requirements:Minimum 2 years' post qualification experiencePrevious senior or Deputy experience in a Nursery SettingMinimum Level 3 early years qualification or equivalentThorough understanding and knowledge of legislation including EYFSEmpathetic, caring and friendlyExperience of SENDManaging budgets, invoicing and payrollDeputy Nursery Manager Duties:To oversee the efficient and safe running of the allocated Base RoomTo assist in coordinating rotasTo maintain staff:child ratios at all timesTo contribute to the induction process for new and promoted staffTo develop strong partnerships with parents, colleagues, childrenOn offer:26,000 salary a year20 days holiday plus bank holidaysDay off for your BirthdaySupport to get further qualificationsCareer progression to Senior rolesThe nursery is committed to the safety and welfare of all children.
