Deputy Finance Manager £35,000 per annum Barnsley, South Yorkshire What's On Offer: - Hybrid working - 24 days holiday + bank holidays - Group wide incentives and discounts - Free on site parking Key Responsibilities: - Oversee daily operations of the transactional finance team, ensuring each team member understands their responsibilities and meets key performance targets - Supervise the accuracy and reliability of sales ledger, purchase ledger, and payroll data across all financial systems - Serve as the main point of contact between the finance team and other departments, fostering strong communication and collaborative relationships - Regularly evaluate finance systems and workflows, recommending and implementing improvements to boost efficiency and data accuracy - Ensure smooth operation of IT systems within the finance team, promptly addressing any technical issues - Prepare and deliver monthly financial reports, including key metrics and account reconciliations, for review by senior leadership - Ensure compliance with statutory requirements for sales, cost, and payroll management, maintaining accurate records and controls
