Job Title:          Deputy Manager Children's Home Location :          Northampton, NN1 Salary:              £16.49 per hour.
Sleep In's paid at £53.00 40 hours per week, permanent contract This role works on a variable shift pattern across the 7 days of the week An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a highly reputable company as their Deputy Manager for a children's residential service.
You will be responsible for the effective day to day running of the homes, supporting the Manager and motivate, lead and manage staff.
As the Deputy Manager, your duties will include: Developing, mentoring and leading a vibrant and enthusiastic care team.
Responsible for the effective day to day running of the home and the delivery of all care services, as well as the strategic planning for developments within the home and all day-to-day management matters.
Deliver the organisations vision and values and best possible childcare to the children in the service.
Build internal and external relationships with service users, families, staff, agencies, partners, and commissioners.
As the Deputy Manager, we are looking for someone who has: Level 3 Residential Childcare and be willing to do Level 5 A true passion for care and working with children.
2 years experience in a supervising role within a children's home.
Confident meeting and exceeding Ofsted guidelines.
Strong knowledge of Ofsted and Safeguarding Ideally hold a full UK drivers licence Apply today!!
