Job Description We have a fantastic opportunity to join our continually expanding organisation as a Deputy Locality Manager , overseeing our Residential Service within the Birmingham Area.
Midway Care Group is seeking a Deputy Locality Manager to join our dynamic team on a 6-month fixed-term contract, with the option for the role to become permanent.
This role offers a chance to oversee and shape our Residential Service in Alvechurch.
About The Role About the Role: Reporting directly to the Locality Manager, you will: Provide hands-on leadership to a dedicated team of Team Leaders and Support Staff.
Oversee up to 1,000 care hours per week, ensuring a high standard of care at all times.
Actively promote the development of social and living skills among service users.
Build professional, supportive relationships with service users, families, and stakeholders.
Conduct and review Mental Capacity assessments and ensure appropriate DoLS (Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards) are in place.
Support service users in managing their own care wherever possible.
What We're Looking For: Proven experience in a senior or deputy role within a care setting.
Strong written, verbal, and IT skills, with the ability to prioritize and organize effectively.
Flexibility to meet the needs of the service.

Desired Criteria Required Criteria Previous experience in a senior or deputy role working with adults with learning disabilities.
