Job Title: Deputy Locality ManagerLocation: West BromwichSalary: £30,000 per annumJob Type: Permanent, Full TimeImmediate start – 37.5 hours per week Mon-Thurs 9 am – 5 pm, Friday 9am- 4pmAbout us:We were established in 2007 by an experienced and dedicated team with an employment history that includes the health service, local authority and independent care providers.The majority of our experience had been gained within the field of Learning Disabilities and Mental Health, both corporately and within service management and delivery.We began operationally trading on the 30th July 2007 with the opening of our first service, a day centre in the Birmingham area supporting service users from the local surrounding areas.Our commitment to delivering quality care is demonstrated by our CQC ratings.About the role:The opportunity has arisen for a Deputy Locality Manager to join the operations team andwork alongside the current Locality Managers to cover Sandwell, Walsall, Birmingham,Dudley, and Wolverhampton.The successful candidate will support the Locality Care Manager in overseeing the deliveryof high-quality care services across a defined area.
Working across all localities and thecandidate will need to be a driver and have access to their own car.Your role is crucial in ensuring compliance with Care Quality Commission (CQC) regulationsand maintaining the highest standards of care.
It requires a dedicated professionalcommitted to delivering exceptional care services and driving continuous improvement inline with organisational goals and regulatory standards.Key Responsibilities:Service Quality and Compliance Ensure adherence to CQC standards and regulationsImplement and monitor quality assurance systemsConduct regular audits and implement improvement actionsSafeguard and promote the welfare of service users Leadership and Staff Management Support the development of a competent, motivated staff teamAssist in recruitment, supervision, and performance management of care staffIdentify and address training needs within the teamPromote a culture of continuous improvement and excellence Operational Management Oversee day-to-day operations of assigned servicesManage resources effectively and efficientlyEnsure proper maintenance of facilities and equipmentImplement and monitor health and safety proceduresTo be part of the on-call procedure, ensuring services are supported out of business hours Client Care and Engagement Promote person-centred care and active participation of service usersOversee the development and implementation of care plansEnsure effective communication with clients and their familiesHandle and resolve complaints promptly and effectively Administrative Duties Maintain accurate records and documentationAssist in budget management and financial reportingContribute to the development of policies and proceduresPrepare reports and presentations as required Stakeholder Relations Build and maintain positive relationships with external partnersRepresent the organization in professional forums and meetingsCollaborate with other departments to enhance service delivery Qualifications and Skills Relevant qualification in health and social care (e.g., Level 3 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care)Proven experience in a senior care roleStrong understanding of CQC regulations and compliance requirementsExcellent leadership and interpersonal skillsAbility to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends when required This is not an exhaustive listPlease click the APPLY button to submit your CV for this roleCandidates with the experience or relevant job titles of: Service Manager, Supervisor, Support Team Leader, Social Work Supervisor, Care Supervisor, Team Leader, Support Worker, Care Support, Care Assistant, Support Worker, Social Work Manager, Support Team Leader, Special Needs Support, Support Care Worker and Social Care may also be considered.
