We are extremely proud to be supporting an outstanding rated Further Education provider in Ashford in the recruitment of a Deputy Head of Engineering.
As the Deputy Head of Engineering, you will be working within a £10 million state-of-the-art engineering facility with £500,000 investment in new engineering machinery across the group.
With robotic Kuka arms, XYZ CNC mills and lathes, 3D printers, computer-based labs (with CAD software) + more, you'll have all the latest equipment to manufacture engaging & creative programmes.
Benefits This permanent appointment offers c£46,200/annum with 38 days holiday plus Bank Holidays.

Responsibilities The successful candidate will be an experienced Engineering professional with a teaching qualification.
Working alongside the Head of Engineering, supporting the development of the courses and enhancing towards being a centre of excellence.
Teaching, supporting, and assessing students' coursework.
Overseeing Mechanical & Electrical/Electronic Engineering qualifications.
Planning a highly relevant and distinctive curriculum to meet the local/regional skills requirements.
Implementing the launching of the new T levels in Engineering.
Leading, communicating, and coordinating your team, so all students receive up-to-date and correct information.
The role is subject to Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks.
