Key Responsibilities of a Deputy Engineering Manager: Lead and manage mechanical design projects from concept through to completion.
Develop and execute detailed project plans, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality designs.
Mentor and guide a small team of mechanical design engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
Conduct thorough feasibility studies, simulations, and analyses to validate design concepts.
Create comprehensive technical drawings, specifications, and documentation using advanced CAD software.

Qualifications of a Deputy Engineering Manager: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Extensive experience in mechanical design, particularly within the avionics industry- but not essential.
Proven track record of leading design projects from initial concept through to final delivery.
Strong proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar).
Excellent understanding of engineering principles, materials science, and manufacturing processes relevant to avionics.
Exceptional problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and inspire a team of engineers.
