Deputy Director (Estates & Construction) We are seeking a highly experienced Deputy Director (Estates & Construction) to lead a strategic estate optimisation programme.
This role is pivotal in maximising the potential of the property portfolio through effective estate management and construction oversight, including high-value land sales and complex Army and Air Force projects.
The successful candidate will bring proven expertise in managing large-scale, multifaceted programs, ensuring operational efficiency, and fostering innovation.
With responsibility for managing a large team of 50–100 professionals, the ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership skills, stakeholder management, and a deep understanding of both public sector frameworks and private sector best practices.
You will have proven expertise in construction project management, estate management optimisation, and property management and familiarity with Army and air construction projects and working on high-value contracts.

Familiarity with Army and air construction projects and working on high-value contracts.
Comprehensive knowledge of NEC 3 and NEC 4 contract management standards, ensuring compliance and value delivery across projects.
Demonstrated ability to lead large teams of 50–100 personnel effectively, fostering collaboration and high performance.
Strong experience in managing diverse stakeholders at all levels, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
MCIPS qualification highly preferred.
SC/DV highly desirable; candidates with active SC/DV clearance will be fast-tracked.
