As a Deputy Cook, your responsibilities will include:
Preparing and cooking meals for pupilsPlanning and controlling all aspects of the serviceKeeping the kitchen clean & tidyCosting, stocktaking and keeping appropriate records using IT skillsMaintaining a balanced diet and varied menusBeing aware of the care users' needs and dietary preferencesCollaborating with managers and supervisors to ensure the first-class delivery of food in school kitchens both in and outside of performance times.Previous kitchen experience is essential to this role.
