As the Deputy Manager, you will be responsible for leading a dedicated team, ensuring that the needs of the young people are met, and fostering an environment of respect, choice, and independence.
You will play a key role in creating care plans, supervising staff, and promoting positive staff well-being.
This is a hands-on role where you will directly impact the lives of young people, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the highest standards of care.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee the welfare and care of young people, ensuring that their individual needs are met.
Lead and supervise staff, fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment.
Implement care programs and activities in partnership with colleagues and external professionals.
Ensure that the home is safe, well-maintained, and compliant with regulations.
Support and guide staff development through training, mentorship, and supervision.
Lead recruitment, induction, and performance management of staff members.
Work closely with the Registered Manager to provide reports and updates on the home's operations.
