Adler and Allan's Pollutants Advisory Group (PAG) is calling for a Deputy Chief Scientific Advisor who thrives on technical challenges, leads with science, and brings a passion for environmental protection.
Reporting to our Chief Scientific Advisor, you'll be the right-hand powerhouse guiding a team of Incident Advisors who are on-call to respond to chemical incidents and provide expert insights across the board.
This role offers hands-on leadership, opportunities to conduct ground-breaking pollutant research, and the chance to shape how we manage environmental risks.

On-the-Scene Science - This isn't just lab work.
You'll sometimes be called to support emergencies, lead projects, or speak at conferences, taking your expertise beyond the desk.
24/7 Dynamic Challenges - Science never sleeps, and neither do we.
You'll be part of a shared on-call rota, ready to respond to urgent incidents (with an extra pay incentive for those night time calls).
What you'll bring : A scientific first degree (chemistry is a plus!)
and technical know-how in pollution management or hazardous waste.
A background in a similar role/field.
DGSA credentials-or a willingness to train up.
Stellar communication skills, attention to detail, and the kind of initiative that makes you the "go-to" in a tough situation.
